The Big Blog Update.

Hello ma'lovelys,

 I have been wanting to change my blog name for a while now, and when I started blogging I wasn't sure what to call it, so I just wrote 'Char_Beyy' as it was one of my nick names. However over the past year, I have got quite sick of seeing it and didn't think it suited my blog. So a couple of months ago I started to come up with some ideas of new names for my blog.

 This is when my brain started to hurt! The more I thought of them, the worse the ideas got. I did however come up with up with at least 15 umm more like 8 half decent ideas. Now the hard part. DUN DUN DUN!

Choosing the final one and putting a design to it. It took a while for this to happen, and im really appreciative to all those who helped and had to put up with my ramblings.
Finally my new blog and design was put together.
As you can see by the new design my blog is now called 'LittleMissC' but when I went to change the URL, it was already taken :( However I added my middle name to end and now that's my blog link.  I hope you all like my design, I wanted to keep it sweet but simple :)

 I have also added my popular blog posts and follow via email  links to my side bar. This will enable you to skip directly to my most popular blog posts, and also you can subscribe to my blog via email, so you with be informed when new posts are written.

Now a BIG problem, as I had to change all my links I have lost all my followers on Bloglovin!

So I would be truly grateful if you all re follow me on there, and let all your friends and other bloggers know please!

This is the link you can use to follow me on, or just click the Bloglovin icon which is on my blog sidebar.

Follow on Bloglovin

I have so many new and exiting ideas for up and coming posts, and I cant wait to share them with you all.
Thank you all for your support, I am really happy and content with my life at the moment, and its all thanks to you lovely bloggers.

Pink & Brown makeup look!

Hello ma'lovelys, hope you are all well. Today I will be showing you a pink and brown makeup look that I created this morning before heading out for a long walk in this gorgeous weather.

I started by using a moisturizer all over my face. I then applied my foundation with my real techniques buffing brush and then dusted some setting powder all over my face. Once applied I moved on to my eyebrows. I filled them into the shape desired and then started on my eyes.

 I applied a base of pink all over my lids. I added a more of brown pink to my crease. I then took a brighter pink and added it along my top lash line. I also put a tiny bit underneath my outer bottom lash line. I then lined my top and bottom lash line with jet black liquid liner. I did a cat eye flick and then added two coats of mascara.

 I decided to put two layers of concealer around my eye area and blended that in with the real techniques foundation brush. I then contoured my cheeks using my real techniques contour brush. I added a light peach blush to the apples of my cheeks and some highlighter across the top. To finish off the look I applied some lipstick.

The final look!

Hope you al liked my final look!

My Review of They're Real Mascara - The mascara that is beyond belief!

Hello ma'lovelys hope we are all well, todays post is going to be a review about a lovely Benefit product that I have been lusting over for a while.

The product is 'They're Real Mascara', I had heard many great reviews about this product and really wanted to try it out for myself, however being on a student budget there was a limit on how much I could spend on makeup products. So when I saw  Elle give a sample size in there latest magazine, I jumped at the chance and brought the magazine straight away. Benefit says its the mascara beyond belief and claims that it lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates the lashes.

I applied 2 coats off this mascara and was really pleased with the results, as I normally have to add 3 coats and curl to get my desired look. The mascara is jet black and didn't leave me with any clumps at all. I felt the mascara really lengthened and volumized my lashes and my eyes looked very striking considering I didn't apply any eyeliner. I love the wand for this mascara, it really separates my lashes and the end is really handy for getting the stray outer and inner corners.

Overall I really happy with this product and think it is the best mascara I have found so far. As the UK's No.1 best-selling mascara I will definitely be purchasing the full size. They're Real can be brought for £19.50 from your local Benefit Counter or from most beauty shops.

Have you tried They're Real?

Foundation review! - No7 Beautifully Matte

Hello ma'lovelys, hope we are all well on this fine day. Its been a while since I did a foundation review, so I thought I'd share with you the one I have been constantly using recently.

I first got this foundation over a year ago now, when a lovely lady from the No7 counter matched me up with the correct shade of foundation for my skin tone. The lady used the newly used technology matched made device, which takes 27 photographs of your skin on each side of your face and matches them correctly to find you perfect shade of foundation.

After being matched using the device I found out that I was the fairest shade in the range '43Calico' (DAMN you pale skin). Now that I had found my perfect shade, it was the tough decision on what foundation to go for. I knew that I wanted a liquid foundation which gave me the option of 8 different foundations to chose from:

No7 Protect & Perfect Foundation
No7 Restore & Renew Foundation
No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation
No7 Stay Perfect Liquid Foundation
No7 Essentially Natural Foundation
No7 Instant Radiance Foundation
No7 Intelligent Colour Foundation
No7 Lift & Luminate Foundation

A full coverage foundation was definitely on the cards as well, so the next step was to try some of them out.

In the end I chose the No7 Beautifully Matte foundation. This foundation is long lasting and has full coverage. It leaves a lovely matte finish which I love, and glides smoothly onto the skin.

Before foundation applied.

I used the Real Techniques Buffing Brush to blend the foundation into my skin.

After foundation applied.

Hope you all liked this review,

*BIG hug and kiss*

A wonderful way to start my birthday :)

Hello ma'lovelys, today I will be sharing with you what I got up to for my birthday.

Before we get to my actual birthday... on Saturday my Grandma took me out shopping to buy me some clothes as my present. We wondered around ALL the shops and I didn't see anything that I particularly liked. After coming out of New Look with nothing I was disappointed. I decided to go back inside to have one last look. I'm so glad I did, found some gorgeous pieces.

Now back to the morning of my birthday. After my BIG hug and kiss, I soon fell asleep - I was knackered. I woke up about 9:30, I headed downstairs for a drink and was bombarded with hugs and singing from my two sisters.
After doing my hair and makeup I made my way downstairs to find a full cooked breakfast awaiting me. NOM NOM NOM!

I had a lovely day in the sun, went for a long walk with Chris. I just enjoyed the sunshine and the company.

Then in the afternoon I opened my cards and presents. Got some lovely gifts, so pleased with some of them.

A few of my birthday cards

Note purse
Nail vanish set
Bracelet from River Island
Necklace from Dorothy Perkins

Yay finally got the Real Technique brush sets!
Core Collection
Starter Kit
Brush holder

Two Nails Inc polishes
Benefit Ultra Posh Lipgloss
Bare Minerals Lipgloss
Pretty Soap
No7 perfume
Matching bracelet and earrings

DKNY bag with new limited edition perfume.

My mum then brought in my cake, which my Grandma had made especially for me - I LOVE my Grandmas Chocolate Cake!

We then all sat down for a meal that my mum had made, Beef Wellington. It was so cute how she did the hearts.

After food, we call sat down and watched Sky Fall together. A lovely night at the end of a lovely day.

I had a great birthday and would like to thank my family and boyfriend for making it perfect.

Hope you enjoyed finding out about my birthday, feel free to comment :)

I won a giveaway on Emtalks!

Hello ma'lovelys, hope you are all well :) This is a post to say huge thank you to Em from Emalks.co.uk and Wonderbra for the wonderful giveaway!

I have been reading Em's blog for a while now; even before I, myself started blogging. Her blog is one of those blogs that you just can't get enough of. Em writes such lovely and different posts about all things fashion and beauty, and she always writes her own personal opinions for her reviews. I saw that Em was holding a giveaway on her blog for National Cleavage day. Em had partnered up with Wonderbra and they were giving away a bra to one of  Em's lucky viewers. You can read how Em got involved with Wonderbra on her blog here!

So anyways, when I saw that Em had written this post I was instantly intrigued. When it comes down to bras, I need all the help I can get with my small boobs. Its a sensitive subject to talk about for me, as I have difficulties with my small boobs and am on the waiting list at the breast clinic.  I was so excited to enter the giveaway, and did so immediately. A few weeks went past, and to be honest I had actually forgotten about it, until Em tweeted; stating that I had won her giveaway. I was in college at the time, and started screaming "I've won a bra, I've won a bra!". The amount of weird looks I got haha.

Em was very efficient with collecting my details and getting in contact with Wonderbra. My bra arrived and I was so excited to try it on. Wonderbra sent me a cute note along with the bra, congratulating me on my win. The bra is gorgeous and fits perfectly, I am so happy.

A big thank you once again to Em! <3

You can follow both Em and Wonderbra on twitter:

Colourful and different!

Hello ma'lovelys, hope you are all well :)
Todays post is a colourful and different makeup look that I created using my darling gorgeous sister Annabelle as my model.

I started with a base of Estee Lauders Primer to give a nice smooth surface to work with. The foundation I used was Rimmel London's Wake Me Up Foundation, as I wanted a dewy kind of look. I used a Real Techniques Stippling brush to buff it into the skin. I then contoured using FCUK's bronzing powder. For the cheeks I used an old pink and light Estee Lauder blusher. To set I used Rimmel London's Stay Matte Perfection powder and the Real Techniques Powder brush. I then moved on to the eyes.

I used the 12 Shade Poptastic Palette by MUA. I chose the turquoise blue, bright yellow, and shocking pink colours for this look. I started by creating a side ways V shape on the outer corner of the eye with the turquoise blue. I then added a tiny amount of the shocking pink to the inside of the V shape. Once I had done this, I defined the V shape with a darker blue. For the rest of the lid I applied the bright yellow and blended it in with the other colours. I  then applied a tiny bit of highlight underneath the brow bow.

I then filled in the eyebrows with the matte brown from the 12 Shade Undressed Palette and added the Maybelline The Falsies to the lashes. Lastly I added the Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 113.

New eyeliner review! and cat update.

Hello ma'lovelys, hope we are all well :) Sorry again for not posting recently, my cat was in an accident and I  have been worried sick the past couple of days. She is stable now but has to go back to the vets for her operation on Monday.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Moving swiftly on to today's post. This is my review of my new 'Collection 2000 - Fast Stroke' eyeliner.
(Sorry for bad lighting)
This has been my first proper liquid liner since I have started blogging. As my skills and knowledge has developed through the years, I have been able to move on from pencil, felt tip,and gel, and now finally on to liquid.
I really like this eyeliner, it is so easy to use and the pigmentation is amazing. You are able to have full control over the applicator and can create many different looks using thin and thicker strokes. I love how you are able to erase any mistakes quickly and efficiently using a cotton bud before the liner is set; but when it is dry, it does not budge. The only downfall is that it does flake a tiny bit when rubbing eyes and taking make up off, but this is expected like most liquid liners, however for the price you cannot really complain for tiny flakes when its only £2.99 from Superdrug.
How to make Spaghetti Carbonara & Focaccia Bread!
Hello ma'lovelys, todays post is going to be about cooking! I had a down moment during the week as my numbers of followers had gone down, and had no comments on my last two posts. So I had thoughts about not carrying on with my blog, because nobody was interested. However I tweeted about it, and some lovely ladies Kirsty, Melissa and Ellie encouraged me and told me not to give up - which was really sweet of them. Ellie also gave me inspiration to do more posts about cooking as its great for people our age to learn recipes for the future.
Todays cookery lesson - Spaghetti Carbonara & Focaccia Bread!
We'll start with the Focaccia Bread. Grab a mixing bowl and add warm water, sugar and yeast and mix with a spoon.
Measurements I used:
1/4 pint of warm water
Tsp of sugar
Tbsp of yeast
Leave the bowl in a warm area for it to rise. While that is happening, in another bowl add self raising flour, salt and lard (or oil). Using your fingers gentle rub in the lard to the flour.
Measurements I used:
650g self raising flour
Tsp salt
25g lard
Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture, add a drop more water and a splash of oil and stir in circular motions.
WARNING - next bit is messy!
Sprinkle flour onto a work surface and tip out the dough.
Start working the dough by using the kneading technique.
Kneading technique.
Pull, stretch, fold, push.
The dough should form into a rounded shape; place this back in the bowl with oiled cling film on top, and place back in warm area for 10 mins.
After letting the dough prove, take it out onto the floured work surface again and knead a few times., After the kneading use a rolling pin to roll it out into a rounded square.
 Place it onto a floured tray and use your finger tips to make slight holes all over the dough.
Add a bit of rosemary to each hole and then sweep some oil over the top.
Put it into the oven at 230 degrees and cook for 15 - 20 mins (until golden brown).
When it is ready, take it out. Add another sweep of oil all over and add a sprinkle of sea salt.
Now for Spaghetti Carbonara .
Add water and a pinch of salt into a saucepan and boil.
Prepare the meat. Cook bacon if that's what your using, for mine I just used some cold cooked ham.
Add spaghetti to the saucepan of boiling water, and let it simmer until al dente (or soft which ever you prefer).
While that is cooking add 2 eggs and 1 egg yolk into a bowl, and whisk.
Add a drop of cream and some cheese and mix this all together.
Drain the spaghetti into a strainer and pour the Carbonara sauce into the saucepan.
Add the meat and stir through, then add the spaghetti back in and stir again.
Pour into a serving bowl or directly into bowls and top it off with a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese.
So there we go ma'lovelys, hope you enjoyed learning to cook with me :)
Feel free to leave a comment!
Thanks again to the wonderful Ellie, Kirsty and Melissa!
